Bruno Loi is one of the most popular and well-known launeddas players in Sardinia. Launeddas is a typical wind instrument of the Sardinian tradition.
He started learning Launeddas at the age of 17 and got training under Dionigi Burranca native of Samatzai.
The research led him to the artisanal construction of various musical instruments of the Sardinian folk tradition: sulittus, trunfas, percussions, alternating live performance with teaching at the Escalaplano traditional music school.
He is one of the founding members of the Symponia Cultural Association, which carries out musical activities linked to the Sardinian tradition, promoting and organizing show-musical and cultural events, dance courses and Sardinian music, together with the musicians Andrea Puddu and Enrico Picchiri.
In 2016 his first recording work, Brinca , was born , produced together with the musician Paride Peddio.
